FMF has sponsored some
of Fiji's greatest sporting stars such as
Naca Takayawa, Makelesi Bulikobi, Joe Rokocoko,
Lote Tuqiri and Waisale Serevi in achieving
their dreams.
FMF sponsors a variety
of events ranging from the Hibiscus Festival,
Chow Games, and IQ Active. FMF believes
in sponsoring such diversified events to
help as many people as possible.
FMF
has sponsored at a National level with the
Fiji National Rugby Team, now known as the
FMF Flying Fijians. This sponsorship will
take the rugby team through the World Cup
in 2007.

Makelesi
Bulikiobo
Fiji¡¯s sprint
queen Makelesi Bulikiobo Batimala maintains
her gold medal for the 100m and 200m for
the South Pacific Games in 2007. Recently
she is qualified to participate in the track
event for upcoming Olympic Games 2008 in
China.
The star of the 2003 Games
in Suva and the 2001 Mini South Pacific
Games in Norfolk burst on to the scene in
Norfolk in 2001 where she won five gold
medals and almost repeated this achievement
in Suva in 2003, winning the 100m, 200m
400m and in the 4*100 relay.
In the
women¡¯s track event Bulikiobo is Fiji¡¯s
favorites. She is espoused by Flour Mills
of Fiji in archiving her dreams.
Flour
Mills is proud to supports the sport people
of Fiji as they are the ambassadors of this
country.
Bulikiobo has been sponsored
by Flour Mills of Fiji since 2000; this
enables our sports people archiving their
goals and dreams, because it¡¯s a person¡¯s
talent and a gift from God.

Lote
Tuqiri :
Lote
Daulako Tuqiri is originally
from Namatakula in Fiji and is an Australian
rugby union player and former rugby league
player. He has played for the Wallabies
over 50 times and was part of Australian
2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cup squad.
He
currently plays for the Waratahs in the
Super 14. Tuqiri first rose to prominence
as a rugby league player for the Brisbane
Broncos and Queensland Maroons. He has also
played for Fiji and Australia national sides.
In both sports he plays as a winger.
Tuqiri
as he normally known has been a proud Fijian;
he is a man of tradition as well as religion.
He heads back to Fiji on occasion and visits
his village of Namatakula.
As a proud
Fijian, Tuqiri has been supported by our
very own FMF. He has been the corporate
ambassador for Flour Mills of Fiji.
Flour
Mills has been proud to engage to players
like Tuqiri as they are the ambassadors
of Fiji. He was the invited guest during
the opening of the new Biscuit Company factory
in Walu Bay, Suva in 2006.
After
the world cup in 2007, Tuqiri was flown
in by Flour Mills of Fiji to meet the local
fans giving away autographed FMF t-shirts,
postcards, caps and goodies.

Seru
Rabeni :
Seru
Rabeni is from Nasolo village
in Bua, Fiji. As a young boy who loves rugby
he started in Primary school and secondary
level tournament.
Rabeni who
was studying in Lautoka Teachers College
first played provincial rugby for Lautoka
club and later join Naitasiri club.
He
also played for Fiji U21s and U23s and played
halfback for the Fiji 7¡¯s team in 1998-2000.
Rabeni
made his Test debut in the Epson Cup against
Japan in 2000, but an ankle injury saw him
miss the remainder of the tournament. He
began three-year study at Otago University
in New Zealand in February 2001 and rejoined
the Test side in June 2002.
He later
played for Otago in NPC and won a Super
12 contract for 2003 and 2004. Rabeni signed
for English club Leicester shortly after
being named in the Pacific Islanders squad.
Rabeni
has again returned in 2006 adding more strength
and power to the Fiji backline.
Rabeni
was selected to the FMF
Flying Fijian in 2007 for the
Rugby World cup, which they compete till
the quarter finals.
Similar to Tuqiri
and Serevi he is the corporate ambassador
for FMF.

Waisele
Serevi
Waisale
Tikoisolomoni Serevi was born
in Qarani on the island of Gau, Fiji. He
has several nickname including small, wizard
and maestro due to his Rugby sevens ability.
Serevi
is widely considered as the greatest Rugby
Sevens player of all times. He started with
his rugby career when he was 17 years old.
Although he has played fifteen-a-side with
his career, Serevi is more prominent for
his sevens rugby achievements.
His
sevens rugby achievements debut in winning
the prestigious Hong Kong tournament three
years in a row in 1989. He was part of the
team that won the Sevens Rugby World cup
in 1997 and 2005.
After winning the
2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens Serevi was appointed
the Fiji Sevens team's coach. For the first
time in the history of Fiji sevens, Fiji
won the IRB Sevens series in 2005/2006 on
the guidance of Serevi as the coach.
Serevi
has been proudly supported by Flour Mills
of Fiji.
FMF as always will applaud
the sportsman like Serevi. Similar to Tuqiri
FMF has propped up Serevi as they are the
corporate ambassador of FMF and Fiji.

Graham
Dewes :
Graham Charles
Dewes was born in Lautoka and grew up in
Suva, Fiji. He has a strong maternal links
in the island of Rotuma, and has a long
dream to represent Fiji in the Rugby World
Cup. His dreams came true when he represented
Fiji in the Rugby World cup in 2007, in
which they reached the Quarter Finals.
Graham
is the front rower for the Auckland Marist
club and has played from the age grades
through to under 23.
Graham is the
corporate ambassador for Flour Mills of
Fiji. Flour Mills is proud to sponsor Graham
who has been residing overseas but maintaining
his maternal link to Fiji.

Joe
Rokocoko :
Josevata
Taliga Rokocoko is his
Christian birth name born in Nadi in Fiji
is a professional New Zealand rugby player.
Joe
Rokocoko migrated to New Zealand with his
parents at the age of five.
Rokocoko
is known for his speed and strength which
has accounted for his implausible try strike
rate. Recognition of his speed and strength
he was awarded a scholarship to Saint Kentigen
College and became the member of the 2001
National Secondary Schools team.
After
an outstanding career with New Zealand international
sides at under-16, under-19, and under-21
level, he started playing Super 12 rugby
for the Blues in 2003.In the same year he
started playing for the Blues he also played
for the New Zealand team playing against
England.
His incredible speed has
been seen many a time through out his career
during the All Blacks test match in 2004
with England; where he scored three tries
and became victory over the reigning Rugby
World Cup champions.
So far Joe has
the highest single- season score record
which use to be dominated by Jonah Lomu
and Christian Cullen.
Joe has been
a corporate ambassador for Flour Mills of
Fiji. Although playing for New Zealand his
always proud to be a Fijian.
After
